May is a special month for me, my birthday, my sister's birthday and my son's birthday are in May. I know that some of you were looking for updates as of the 13th, but that is my son's birthday and I decided to devote that time to him.
We do have a few updates, so do check them out:
- New Plus Size/Full Figured Model of the Month, Tanesha Jackson ;
- Writer Atiya Malak, gives us another contribution to The Writer's Corner;
- In The Kitchen's The In The Kitchen Journal will be released July 13, 2008. We are offering a hardback, softback and download version. Also June 1st will begin the new season of In The Kitchen Recipe Submissions. I decided to move the release date for the cookbook back to be apart of the anniversary celebrate for the magazine;
- The New In The Groove Show from The Akua Lounge Podcast Channel;
- The New Akua Lounge Spotlight on The Flow Live.Com;
- I will not be adding an April Archive, I am going to being moving everything to the new setup;
- Join The Akua Magazine Community & Message Board;
